Latest Update 18th April 2023

VTU 1st SEM April 2023 Exams Postponed

VTU Exams to be held from 20th April 2023 are postponed to start from 27th April 2023

With reference to the postponement of 1st Sem April 2023 exams, it is hereby informed that the process of verification of documents regarding admission approval of students for the academic year 2022-23 of the University will be completed this week. Further, in many government and aided colleges under the purview of the university, the working teachers are deputed for the training conducted this week by the Election Commission for the Karnataka Assembly Elections-2013.

Therefore, the first year examinations conducted by the University from Date: 20-04-2023 have been decided to be held from 27-4-2023.

VTU Exams Postponed Due to Corporation Elections & KPSC Exam

All VTU Exams scheduled on Friday 3rd September 2021 are postponed to Tuesday, 21st September 2021.

The exams previously scheduled on 3rd September 2021 are postponed to 18th September 2021, this exam is again rescheduled to 21st September 2021 due to KPSC exams.

The examination timings will remain the same.

Karnataka Lockdown News:

1. Chief Minister announced 14 Day state-wide lockdown in Karnataka starting from 27th April 9 PM to 9th May 2021.
2. No Public transport will be available, essential services and shops allowed to open between 6 am to 10 am every day.
3. Free vaccine for all between the age of 18 to 45 across Karnataka.
4. Administration of vaccine doses to all aged between 18 to 45 to start from 1st May 2021.

VTU has officially confirmed that the VTU exams will not be postponed. VTU will conduct the 1st year BE/ BTech and  BArch exams from 19th April 2021 as per schedule. There is no change in the VTU Time Table.

Latest update on 6th April 2021 at 7.50 pm

Employees of road transport corporations [BMTC, KSTRC, NWKRTC, NEKRTC] to go on bus strike tomorrow, 7th April 2021, due to non-implementation of salary under 6th pay commission. However, the Karnataka Government has asked the state road transport to hire private buses and school buses.

The chances of the 3rd sem exams postponing are low. So far, we have not received any official word from VTU.

As per the latest circular, VTU exams were postponed for the 3rd semester 2018 scheme exams.

The University postpones VTU 3 sem Exams with subject code 18**31 to 5th April 2021 and exams with subject code 18**32 to April 2021. There is no change in the timings. VTU will conduct the exams in the afternoon session, which is 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

However, the circular was removed from the official website within a short period for reasons unknown. So, there is a high possibility that the exam date may change.

VTU releases notification today, 1st March 2021, with a list of dates for submitting the 3rd sem exam form online and the date when the hall ticket will be available. However, this is causing a lot of confusion because the current official VTU timetable shows 3 sem exams starting from 6th March 2021, and the last date for exam form submission is 8th March 2021.

So from this, there is a high possibility for postponement of 3rd sem VTU exams. We are still waiting for an official word from the university with new dates for the 3rd sem exams.

Bharat Bandh 2021: 26th Feb 2021

The All India Traders Body will observe a day-long Bharat Bandh tomorrow across the nation, protesting against rising fuel prices and a new e-way bill system under GST.

According to news reports, the All India transport welfare association also has extended support to the Bandh call from 6 am to 8 pm on 26th Feb 2021.

IMPORTANT NOTE: There is no official VTU notification from University(VTU) with regards to exams scheduled on 26th Feb 2021

The extension is only for the students who have not filled the examination application form due to critical problems and the students facing filing exam application issues.

THERE IS NO CHANGE IN THE THEORY OR PRACTICAL EXAMINATION DATES OF UG AND PG PROGRAMS, and the University will conduct the examinations as per the already circulated schedule.

Update: Bharat Bandh 26th Feb 2021 VTU News

VTU Exams Postponed to 25th Aug 2020 for BE Final year students & 31st Aug 2020 for BE Arrear Subjects.VTU Exams Aug/Sept 2020 were scheduled to be held from 24th Aug 2020. However, due to overlapping subjects, vtu exams are rescheduled/ postponed for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

The university examinations' time tables to be held at the end of the even semesters (August/ September 2020) of B.E / B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Plan/ M.Tech/MBA/MCA/M.Arch. Courses are published on the VTU Website. This timetable is for the final year students for Regular subjects and the eligible students' arrear subjects of all schemes.

After the circulation of the examinations' time tables' draft layout, quite a few representations have been received regarding overlapping of schedules. All such representations have been incorporated. Hence you need not refer to the old layout for any future correspondence.

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) via its official circular dated 19th May 2018. The VTU June/July theory exams scheduled on 28th May 2018 have been postponed to 10th June 2018(Sunday) due to the postponed assembly election in Rajarajeshwari assembly constituency, Bengaluru. The timings remain unchanged for the postponed exams.

The practical examinations scheduled on 28th May 2018 remain unchanged for colleges are outside the Rajarajeswari assembly constituency, while for the colleges coming under the rajarajeshwari assembly constituency, the practical exams will be conducted on 8th June 2018.
