Acharya Institute of Technology was established in 2000 under JMJ Educational society. It has a vast campus spread over 120 acres. Acharya Institute of Technology is an affiliated college of VTU. In addition to this, it is approved by AICTE and accredited by NBA and NAAC. It offers 13 undergraduate courses, 06 postgraduate courses and 11 research courses.

Duration: 4years
Eligibility:
(1)10+2 pass/ II PUC pass
(2)Minimum marks of 45% in Physics, Mathematics and any 1 of the subjects- Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Electronics.

 

 

Post Graduate Courses

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Duration: 2years
Eligibility:
(1)Any bachelor degree with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate in all subjects inclusive of languages.
(2)Admission is based on MAT/ KMAT/ PGCET/ CMAT scores.

Master of Computer Applications
Duration: 2years
Eligibility:
(1)Any bachelor degree with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate in all subjects inclusive of languages.
(2)Admission is based on MAT/ KMAT/ PGCET/ CMAT scores.

M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering
Duration: 2years
Eligibility:
(1)Must have passed in Bachelor of Engineering Degree (BE/ Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) in branches Computer Science & Engineering or Information Science & Engineering or AMIE in appropriate branch.
(2)Must secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in all semesters.
(3)Must have taken Gate: CS or PGCET.

M.Tech in Digital Communication and Engineering
Duration: 2years
Eligibility:
(1)Must have passed in BE / BTech in EC/ IE/ ET/TE/ EE branches
(2)Must secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in all semesters.

M.Tech in Bio-Technology
Duration: 2years
Eligibility:
(1)Must have passed in BE / BTech in relevant branches
(2)Must secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in all semesters.
(3)Admission is based on scores obtained in PG CET or GATE.

M.Tech in Machine Design
Duration: 2years
Eligibility:
(1)Must have passed in BE / BTech in relevant branches
(2)Must secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in all semesters.
(3)Must qualify in PG CET or GATE with an eligible score.
(4)Machine Design as a major subject in graduation is preferable.
