VTU Migration Certificate is a document VTU issues on completion of your course and your subsequent admission to a new university.
VTU Migration Certificate Application form for Autonomous colleges and affiliated colleges is available separately.
Note: D.D should be in favour of 'The Finance Officer, VTU, Belagavi.'
If you want to apply for the VTU Migration Certificate, follow the below steps
1.Application form Download from the link https://vtu.ac.in/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Migration.pdf
Fill the application form with your basic details, such as
(a) Name of the Candidate
(b)Gender
(c)University Seat Number (USN)
(d)Name of the college last studied
(e)Whether completed the course or discontinued
(f)Qualifying Examination passed or discontinued along with month and year of admission
Particulars | Fees |

If admitted to the University in INDIA | Rs 1500 |
If admitted to the FOREIGN University | Rs 5000 |
Pay your application fees online in INR through www.vtu.ac.in/online
Other modes of payment such as DD is not accepted, and your application may not be processed if paid through DD.
And enter the amount, transaction id and Fee paid date in the application form.
You must attach the following documents along with your application form
(a) Attested photocopy of Degree certificate/ Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC)/ Copies of all semester Grade cards.
(b)Academic record of student recommended by the college for issuing Migration certificate as per Annexure-I
(c)Receipt of an online payment made
Provide your residential address, contact number and email id correctly in the application form. So, you can receive any communication about your migration certificate application without any hassle.
You must provide the university/ College (New College) address where the candidate has taken admission.
Ensure that you get the following details filled in by the college
(a) This is to certify that Mr/ Ms---------- has admitted/ pursuing------- course in our college/ university during the academic year from----- to ------.
(b) Also ensure that the principal of the new college/ university signed the application form.
