Infosys has launched Infosys Certification program for 2021 on InfyTQ. Infosys Certification is a technology accreditation that endorses the industry-readiness of students so that they can build a career of their choice. The examination process for Infosys Certification will test students for their knowledge in programming and databases. Students who clear the examination will become an ‘Infosys Certified Software Programmer’ and receive an interview opportunity for Systems Engineer role at Infosys. This will also open up opportunities for them to be further assessed for our Systems Engineer Specialist and Power Programmer roles.
Important points to note:
- All the rounds of Infosys Certification examination will be Web-proctored online tests
- Slots for the Qualifying Round and the Final Round will be available on first come, first serve basis
- Programming language (Java/Python) selected at the time of booking a test slot for the Qualifying Round will remain the same for the Final Round as well
- It is advised to compete the recommended learning journey for Infosys Certification before taking the examination
- Certified students can participate in the Advantage Round in order to secure a pre-placement interview (PPI) opportunity for the Power Programmer and Systems Engineer Specialist roles
- Certified students who opt to appear in the Advantage Round and do not clear it will continue to have the behavioral interview opportunity for Systems Engineer role

Salient features:
1. Due to amid COVID19 we have decided to offer work from home internships for selected candidates, so that students can stay safe and yet gain required practical exposure from home and be ahead of others in placements. Once the current pandemic situation becomes stable (which may take 2-3 months time), they can optionally start work from any of our office locations Bangalore, Hyderabad or Kochi, else continue remote working.
2. Candidates will be selected based on online test (Syllabus: Aptitude, Digital Design and Verilog concepts).
3. Our internship program is carefully designed to bring maximum benefits to interns, where we provide systematic fast-paced induction training to interns during initial 2 months so that they get all required practical knowledge and then deploy them on inhouse client project developments.
4. After the internship, best performing interns will be hired for internal positions (or) will be given references to various Semiconductor clients. As per current plans, we are planning to convert over 50 interns for full-time roles in next 6-12 months timeframe.
