VTU Project Funding of Rs 5000 towards the expenses of the project. VTU announces the projects shortlisted for the final round of Project Competition "AVISHKAR".The Project Presentation was done by the students and is now shortlisted for the final round. Each team will get the financial assistance of Rs. 5,000/- towards the expenses of the project.

In this connection, you are requested to inform the selected team to follow the, below mentioned guidelines for participating in the next step of"AVlSHKAR".

 

Guidelines:

1. Project Team shall prepare the video comprising of 15 Minutes PPT presentation and 15 Minutes Demonstration.

2. In the presentation video, the team shall not disclose their College Name or College logo or Name of the Guide. If any information found regarding this, the team shall be disqualified from the Competition.

3. Title of the Project, Names of Project Team Members and Project ID are to be mentioned on the first slide of the presentation. (USN should not be mentioned)

The presentation shall include

• Abstract

• Objectives

• Methodology

• List of Hardware/Software used

• Results and Discussion

• Societal Relevance

• Conclusion and Future Scope

• Publications/Sponsorship (If any)

• Comments on commercialization of the Project and targeted users

4. The video is to be uploaded on the team leader's Google Drive and the video link is to be shared with the following:

The last date to share the video is 15th June 2020.

5. All the original hard copies of the bills for the claimed amount(shall not exceed Rs.5,000/-) are to be submitted along with the Utilization Certificate to the following address. Please adhere to the enclosed financial guidelines.

VTU Avishkar 2020 is a Project Exhibition/Competition.Previously institutions submitted their project proposals for Avishkar. Now, VTU announces the institutions selected for Second Level of Scrutiny.

Principals are requested to depute TWO students from the selected team, to VTU Campus, Belagavi, for presentation as per the enclosed schedule. The selected projects, at the second level will participate in the final round of Exhibition/Competition.The Final round of the competition is expected to be scheduled in second week of May 2020.

Further, the Project Team Leader shall make the online entry on or before 7th March 2020 using the following link.

VTU Avishkar 2020 Guidelines: For the Project Presentation for "AVISHKAR"

1. The presentation shall include

• Title of the Project

• Abstract

• Objectives

• Methodology

• Societal Relevance

• Expected Outcome

2. Time allotted:10 minutes for presentation and 05 minutes for discussion.

3. The Accommodation shall be provided in the hostel subjected to availability, on the request basis.

4. Students are provided with the working lunch on the day of presentation and sleeper class train fare (Tickets are to be submitted Compulsorily). Further students have to submit completed Vendor Format (Enclosed) on the day of presentation.

5. College ID is compulsory.

6. The decision of the Committee is final.

7. Students applied under EAP have to get the copy of the Caste Certificate.

8. Students shall get their own bedding material.
