2.VTU Last Working Date Extended for Even Semesters 2021

As per the latest VTU Circular 2022, the last working day is extended for V and VII semester BE/ BTech/ BPlan/ BArch and IX sem BArch. Previously, the last working day for V and VII semesters was 31st Jan 2022. However, now the last working day is postponed to 10th Feb 2022.
The University is yet to announce the time table for the examinations and the date of commencement of even semester.

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) on Saturday, 31st July 2021 issueing an official circular extending the last working date for 4th semester & 6th semester undergraduate courses (B.E/B.Tech/B.Plan./B.Arch) and for 8th semester of B.Arch.
The Details of the last working date for even semesters 2021 is given below:

Due to the pandemic situation and lockdown VTU has extended the last working at for MCA 4th & 6th semester and MTech 4th semester.
The University will notify the last working day of even semester/ theory, practical exams/ dates to submit the project reports shortly.

With reference to the above, this is to inform you that Video Conference Meeting (through e-Shikshana Portal) is arranged on Tuesday,9-6-2020 at 11.00 a.m. to discuss the Academic and Examination related matters in view of the Circular dated 5-6-2020 received from the Office of the Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Karnataka, Bengaluru. A copy of the Circular is enclosed.
The Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor will be chairing the Video Conference. All are requested to participate in this meeting.

All the authorities of the University have been receiving several e-mails and representations from the students, parents and various organizations, enquiring regarding the decision about the issues related examinations, Academic calendar etc.
Government of Karnataka is likely to issue some directives in this regard in the first week of June, 2020 after deliberating with all the Vice Chancellors.
Hence, all the students, parents and other stakeholders are requested to note that University will issue the circular in the first week of June 2020 about the future course of action based on the directives from the Government.
Until then, the teaching-learning interventions will continue through various digital platforms.
The colleges under VTU have been directed to continuously ensure that the proper guidance and information be given to the students regarding Academic calendar, health and welfare , standard operating procedure to be followed etc. and also to be in touch with all stakeholder

VTU last working day extended for both undergraduate & post graduate courses. It was informed to all the colleges vide above circular that the colleges would continue with the online classes and interventions with the students up to 31st May 2020. It was also instructed to the colleges to ensure that the evaluation of internal assessment of the theory, practicals and project work also to be completed before 31st May 2020. However, considering the difficulties faced by few colleges in completing these evaluations, University has decided to extend the term as per the details given below -

The institutes should plan properly and see that the internal assessment evaluation reports are kept ready on or before 15th June 2020. It is also requested that the online classes should continue. If possible few sessions on Universal Human Values could be planned. The colleges also could extend the mentoring support to the students wherever necessary.
