VTU Special Exam 2023 Registration Extended
VTU extended special exam 2023 registration to 10th May 2023 for UG and PG students. Such students may register through the link https://prexam.vtu.ac.in

Visvesvaraya Technological University is conducting special exams for the old students of VTU. This is an extra benefit that the VTU students can avail to complete their BE/ BTech/ BArch/ MBA/ MCA/ MTech/ MArch. The above special benefit can be availed only if you have completed your full course and are having arrear subjects.
Students admitted to the below batches are allowed to register for the special examination conducted by VTU.

Important points
1. Special exams are conducted in April/ May 2023 and Oct/ Nov 2023 (Tentative).
2. Two additional attempts are given to the above students.
3. Students must register with a pre-registration fees of RS 500.
4. The University will verify critical issues on a case-by-case basis after pre-registration and grant permission only to eligible students.
5. VTU will announce the registration dates by the end of Feb 2023.

Procedure for filing exam applications
1. The facility of online filing of examination application form is provided to the students for the first time due to COVID-19. The students can file the application from their own place.
2. Facility of online filing of application by the students is provided at URL: https://prexam.vtu.ac.in,
3. In case of difficulties, students can request the college to file his/her application form from the college.
4. Payment of Examination fee is to be paid to the college as per the arrangements made by the college.
5. Colleges shall approve the applications filed by the students, after the receipt of fee.
6. After approval of the college, hall ticket will be generated on the given date.
7. In case, the college is filing application, college must obtain the details of student including photo, email id, mobile number etc., (if not already available) and subjects to be applied signed by the student received through email or any other mode and the photo of the student must be uploaded.

As per previous circular, VTU has published VTU Special Exam Time Table for both undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in its official website www.vtu.ac.in.

VTU Special Examinations Nov 2020 is being conducted for terminal semesters. Terminal semesters include 8 Sem BE, 10 Sem BArch, 4 Sem MBA/ MTech & 6 Sem MCA/ MTech (part time) of academic year 2019-20. Adhearing to the high court order, VTU is conducting special examinations for terminal semester students during November 2020. However, only eligible students can apply for these special examinations. So, if you are terminal semester student then check eligibility criteria before applying for the VTU Special Examinations.
VTU Special Examinations Eligibility Criteria
Special Examinations for the UG/PG terminal semester subjects will be conducted during November 2020 and the following students are eligible to apply for examinations:
1.The students who did not apply for August/September 2020 examinations for the terminal semester of UG and PG Programs.
2.The students who have applied for August/September 2020 examinations for the terminal semester of UG and PG Programs and did not attend the examinations.
3.The students who applied for August/September 2020 examinations for the terminal semester of UG and PG Programs and remained absent for one or more subjects.
4.Students who failed in the subjects of terminal semester. 5.Students who passed and wish to improve the performance (except project work and practicals).
Important Points to note:
1.Terminal Semester:8th Semester B.E./B.Tech ,10th Semester B.Arch,4th Semester MBA /M.Tech., 6th Semester MCA/ M.Tech(Part time) of academic year 2019-20.
2.The examinations to be conducted during December 2020/ Jan 2021 are advanced for the terminal semester students of 2019-2020.
3.The students eligible to apply for the special examinations must apply now and are not allowed to apply for Dec 2020/Jan 2021 examinations for the subjects of terminal semester, irrespective of their application and attendance to the special examinations.
4.Students applying for November 2020 special Examinations for performance improvement, must not have applied for Provisional Degree Certificate/ Transcripts/ Extract of Grade Card.
Mode of Examinations:
1.The Examinations for theory subjects will be conducted offline (Pen and Paper mode)
2.All Viva-Voce Examinations will be conducted online (digital mode).
Type of Question Paper:
The question paper will be of open choice and this will be the final attempt with open choice.
