At the end of the course, students will be able to:
1. Understand the importance ofsoil exploration; determine the Bearing capacity ofthe soil in various field conditions.
2. Design the shallow foundations and raft foundation.
3. Understand and solve the problems associated with pilefoundations.
4. Understand importance of geo-synthetics as soilreinforcement
Question paper pattern:
The SEE question paper will be set for 100 marks and the marks scored will be proportionately reduced to 60
