Unit-3 ANALOG TRANSMISSION AND MULTIPLEXING 6 hours

Digital - to - Analog conversion; Analog - to - Analog conversion; Multiplexing; Spread spectrum.

Unit-4 TRANSMISSION MEDIA, ERROR DETECTION AND CORRECTION 6 hours

Unit-6 MULTIPLE ACCESS, ETHERNET 7 hours

Random Access; Controlled Access; Channelization. Ethernet:IEEE standards; Standard Ethernet and changes in the standard; Fast Ethernet; Gigabit Ethernet.

Unit-7 WIRELESS LANS AND CONNECTION OF LANS 6 hours
